Ros Webb Art

I was trained to make dresses and by default I progressed into painting dresses. I suppose it was a natural progression.
I use the lanugauge of the body to express a feeling or an emotion; anything that includes colour; textures ; shapes and movement.
I like to use my art as an escape to an idylic place; as a form of escapism; as all art is.
I take insipration from moderism; from Klimt to David Hockney other inspirations include anything from Spain to Bantry.

I appricate all art forms; the good , bad and downright ugly; because for every piece of art (just like for every person) ; there is someone who loves it.

Currently my artwork is represented in galleries in Ireland and the US and has sold to private collectors in Europe and North America.

Painting is a faith, and it imposes the duty to disregard public opinion. Vincent van Gogh
